Mechanical engineering

Machine construction and prototyping has been in LVP's DNA since its foundation.
The founder, ing. Luc Van Pottelbergh, started with producing adjusting machines for automotive bodywork, followed by various devices and measuring machines in the rubber industry and other sectors.

To this day, whether it is about a small machine that can save extra manipulation in a production process, or a complete production line where one starts with the components and where finished products end up on the other side, the team of LVP engineers consistently apply the following philosophy:
• See if there are standard solutions on the market that can be used or adapted / deployed;
• If not, check the feasibility of the demand against the available budget;
• With a positive assessment, the simplest solution is always chosen;
• Simple also means solid, maintenance-friendly, sustainable and energy-efficient. These are factors that positively influence the production cost.
• Safety for staff and environment prevails in the design and the end result.
• A maintenance plan is drawn up as required.

The urge for the best solution has already led to various patents.
Machines that are subsequently built in larger series are systematically analyzed for possible weaknesses, thereby strengthening the market leader position with regard to possible competition.
What is important for the customer is also important for LVP: transparent calculation methods, robustness, ease of maintenance, speed (cycle time).
